About Us

Kitchen Island Harvest Home Improvements & Construction, Inc. is a family business in every sense. Owner Pete Taylor is a third generation remodeling specialist, having followed his father and three uncles into the building industry. After more than 23 years experience in the industry, Pete still relies on the business skills his father taught him. 
Shelly Taylor, Pete’s wife and partner, is an expert in interior design and possesses a keen eye for color selection. She grew up in the business, too – her father is in the building trade. Pete is already recruiting their young son to be the fourth generation in the family business.

Our team of craftsmen possesses a combined 90+ years of remodeling experience! In addition to owner, Peter Taylor, the team includes his brother, Jay, an expert remodeling technician with over 25 years experience, as well as a master plumber and master electrician who each have more than 20 years experience.
